Request for Presentations:

The Maryland Emergency Management Association 2019 Symposium planning is underway and WE WANT YOUR PRESENTATIONS!

The education subcommittee is now accepting presentation proposals from interested persons, organizations, etc to present at MDEMA2019. This year, we are looking for presentations in the following format:

- Break-out sessions that are 1-hour in length, to include time for questions and answers.

- Proposals must be of interest to the emergency management, homeland security, or public safety audience. They cannot be a sales pitch, of any form.

- Break-out sessions may be lecture, panels, or demonstrations. Presenters will be responsible for all travel expenses.

Please submit a proposal document which describes the following:
a. topic of the presentation, and why it is relevant to MDEMA2019
b. the presentation format
c. presentation participant(s)
d. any relevant information the education subcommittee should consider

Proposals are DUE DECEMBER 1, 2019.

Please note: There is no online discount code for the MDEMA Symposium.  All registrants will need to call the Clarion at 800-638-2100.  Let them know you are with the Symposium and your pricing should be $120 for a 2 queen bed room, $140 for a king, $150 for a studio king and $170 for the cabanas.
